Arghakhanchi Cement is set to start commercial production from its greenfield works next week.

The cement factory has a clinker and cement capacity of 1200tpd and 1000tpd, respectively.  Finished product will be sold under the Arghakhanchi Cement brand.

The plant is largely being promoted by a collaboration of local investors. Siddhartha Group holds a 35 per cent stake, the Murarka Group has a 30 per cent share and the Kediya Group owns a 17.5 per cent holding. The remaining 17.5 per cent stake is in the hands of foreign investor Uma Cement International.
