The Dangote Group on Tuesday inaugurated its 1.5Mta cement plant in Zambia together with a 30MW coal plant to power the factory.

The  project was inaugurated by Zambia's President, Edgar Chagwa Lungu, at Masasiti district, Ndola,  Zambia.

The plant began operations in June and is selling both 32.5 and 42.5 grade cement to meet local needs.
