These include a 50 per cent interest in Ciment Quėbec, land in the Cairo area that used to have a cement works and a minority stake in Syria. The agreed sale of the activities in the Ukraine include one integrated cement works, one grinding plant, two quarries and two ready-mixed concrete batching plants. In total, these disposals add up to in excess of EUR150m. |

It equipped the plant with a 4.5MW motor from stock and built an extended shaft. The new slipring motor had to be sufficiently reliable to replace three existing crusher motors in case of a failure. However, the company has said that a production stop for maintenance purposes was already scheduled and the break adds only 1-2 weeks to the initial plan.
