In mid-2020 Cementownia Warta ordered an Aumund arched plate conveyor type BPB-SF in heavy-duty design. LafargeHolcim, together with KPT-Polish Investment Zone, will modernise the Małogoszcz cement plant in Poland. The new kiln line will have a production of 4000tpd with first clinker scheduled for the end of 2022 or start of 2023. Czech cement production reaches 4.57Mt in 2019

Cement output in the Czech cement industry increased 3.2 per cent YoY to 4.57Mt, a level not seen since 2008, reports the Czech news agency, CTK. In the last six years, cement production has increased by more than 40 per cent. Sales expanded by 1.5 per cent YoY to 3.84Mt, according to preliminary data of the Czech cement producers association. Buzzi Unicem reports that group cement and clinker sales declined 3.4 per cent in the 1H20. Bosnian cement company Tvornica Cementa Kakanj (TCK) more than doubled its net profit to BAM11.6m (US$7m) in the first half of 2020 from BAM5.3m in the 1H19. The company’s operating revenue advanced 30 per cent YoY to BAM41.8m in the 1H20 with operating costs rising 10.7 per cent to BAM29.7m according to TCK’s report to the Sarajevo Stock Exchange.
