Kohat Cement Co Ltd (KOHC) in Pakistan announced a big expansion programme in the north of the country at an estimated cost of PKR3.5bn (US$21.67m). Kohat Cement Co Ltd (KOHC) has reported a YoY drop of 93.6 per cent in profit for the half year ended 31 December 2019. It reported a profit after tax of PKR97m (US$0.62m) compared to PKR1.526bn in the corresponding period last year. Kohat Cement commissions 7800tpd kiln line

Kohat Cement Company Ltd (KOHC) informed Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) on 27 January 2020 that it has successfully commenced commercial operations from its brownfield grey kiln line of 7800tpd, including waste heat recovery power plant, in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.   A company notification says that after setting up of this additional line, the total installed cement production capacity of the company has enhanced from 2,953,500tpa to 5,293,500tpa.

Kohat Cement and Fecto Cement have announced their financial results for the year ended 30 June 2019. Both companies' profits declined, mainly due to  increase in cost of sale and other factors. Kohat Cement Co Ltd (KCCL) has announced its financial results for the half year ended 31 December 2018, declaring a net profit for the period of PKR1.526bn (US$10.9m), a fall of 7.17 per cent YoY, as compared to PKR1.644bn in the same period last year.
