Summit Materials Inc is celebrating that its Hannibal plant in Missouri, operated by Continental Cement Co LLC   has converted 100 per cent of its production to Portland limestone cement (PLC). Summit Materials Inc reported net revenue of US$631.9m in the 1H22, a rise of 2.2 per cent from US$618.5m in the 1H21. Votorantim Cimentos’ regional results in the 2Q22 recorded strong revenues despite inflationary pressures. Total shipments of Portland and blended cement in the USA and Puerto Rico increased six per cent YoY to 9.7Mt in May 2022, according to the US Geological Survey (USGS).
