Sinoma Overseas wins Turkish kiln line project

This September, Sinoma Overseas was awarded the contract by Kentcim Group for the main equipment supply and technical services for a 4250tpd cement production line in southern Turkey. The new line will include a six-stage preheater.   Kentcim Group currently operates the Muğla Çimento San grinding plant in Mu ğla province. Raysut Cement Co begins construction of 9MW WHR system

Oman’s Raysut Cement Co has begun construction of a new 9MW waste heat recovery (WHR) system at its plant in Salalah. The project is expected to contribute to the company’s ambitious sustainability targets, which include reducing power consumption capacity by 25-30 per cent, lowering CO 2 emissions and cutting water consumption by more than 50 per cent. The producer has contracted Sinoma Overseas Development Co Ltd for the project on an EPC basis.

Sinoma reportedly seeking finance for new DR Congo plant

CNBM’s Sinoma Overseas Development Co is reportedly seeking project finance for a cement plant in Tanganyika, Democratic Republic of Congo. In January the company signed an EPC contract with Interlaces SA for a 3500tpd plant.
