Texas-based Sesco Cement is reportedly facing a lawsuit filed by Harris County Attorney, Vince Ryan, for violating the Texas Clean Air Act, Texas Solid Waste Disposal Act and the Texas Water Code, according to the Houston Business Journal. Orangeburg County Chief Deputy Coroner, Sean D Fogle, reported that on Tuesday Lennox W Hinckson, 65, died in a work-related incident at the Holcim (US) Inc Holly Hill cement plant, South Carolina, USA. Kosmos Cement Co in Kentucky, USA, a joint venture between Cemex and Buzzi Unicem, has signed an agreement for the sale of certain assets to Eagle Materials.
