Cement consumption in Peru advanced 3.4 per cent to 905,000t in April 2019, up 3.4 per cent when compared with April 2018, according to the country’s cement association, Asocem. Gabon reported a 42 per cent increase to 487,000t in cement production in 2017 when compared with 341,351t in 2016, InfosGabon reports. Domestic sales reached 488,328t in 2017, up 43.6 per cent from 340,000t in the previous year.
