Pakistan dispatched a 2.039Mt of cement during July 2022, down 47.7 per cent from 3.899Mt during the same month of the last fiscal year. Vietnam-based Song Lam Cement JSC , part of the Vissai Group , exported 2.28Mt of cement in the first half of 2022, according to local media.   The Philippines was the largest off-taker of Song Lam cement, importing 713,000t. Cement consumption in Spain remained stable in June, registering a -0.1 per cent slip when compared to June 2021, according to the Spanish cement association, Oficemen. The Federal Bureau of Statistics (FBS) of Pakistan has released cement export data for July 2021-June  2022. Cement demand in Iran reached 5.8Mt in June 2022, edging up slightly when compared with 5.78Mt of cement sold in June 2021.
