Buzzi Unicem’s financial statements for the year ended 31 December 2020 reported consolidated net sales came in at EUR3222.4m, virtually unchanged compared to EUR3221.4m in 2019. EBITDA stood at EUR780.8m (EUR728.1m in 2019). Cementir Holding has reported a 12.6 per cent YoY increase in group revenue to EUR300.5m for the first quarter of 2021, compared to EUR266.9m in the 1Q20. EBITDA rose 49.4 per cent YoY to EUR48.1m from EUR32.2m, while its EBITDA margin advanced to 16 per cent from 12.1 per cent. Cementir Holding's consolidated results for 2020 saw cement and clinker sales volumes total 10.7Mt, up by 12.9 per cent compared to 2019. This increase was mainly due to the upturn in sales in Turkey where cement volumes rose by 39 per cent over the year. Cementir's preliminary consolidated results for 2020 achieved record revenue from sales of EUR1224.8m, up 1.1 per cent from EUR1211.8m in 2019. EBITDA remained stable at EUR263.7m.
