At the end of June 2007 GEBR. PFEIFFER AG received an order from Cementownia Warta S.A. to supply a cement raw mill. This recent order is a repeat order of the MPS 4000 B vertical roller mill supplied in 1999. Sinoma wins order from Uganda

Sinoma International Engineering Co Ltd said its unit China National Building Material Equipment Corp (CBMEC) won contracts worth US$60.7m from Lafarge Hima Cement Ltd, the Ugandan unit of Larfage. In a statement filed with Shanghai Stock Exchange, Sinoma said CBMEC will design and build a cement production line in Kasese, Uganda. The line is expected to be completed in 24 months. It will have daily output of 850t.

An operations and maintenance (O&M) agreement, booked in September by Wärtsilä, is with United Cement Company of Nigeria Ltd (UNICEM). Cemmac a. s., a cement producer in the Slovak Republic and member of the Austrian Asamer – Group has placed an order for a PiT Navigator from Powitec.   The Cemmac plant was built in the year 2000 with a clinker production capacity of 1200 tons per day. Russia’s Volgo-Cement has signed a preliminary EUR80m agreement to purchase equipment for its yet-to-be-built cement plant from Germany’s Polysius AG, ThyssenKrupp’s engineering unit, the press service of the Volgograd Region’s government said Friday.     Volgo-Cement plans to start building its plant in the north of the Volgograd Region in January-June 2008, the press service of the regional government said in September.
