ABB Switzerland Ltd announced that it has won an order from Fauji Cement Company Ltd (FCCL) for their new 7200ptd production line. FCCL is located in Rawalpindi, in the Punjab province, Pakistan, right next to Islamabad. ABB has won the contract within an external consortium with Polysius Germany and Haver & Boecker Germany. Macmahon Holdings Limited announced today that it had been awarded a new, long term quarrying contract in South East Asia.     The 10 year contract for  Lafarge, at Lhoknga in the Northern Sumatra province of Aceh, is valued at US$60 million. FLSmidth has signed a contract to supply a complete energy and environmentally optimised greenfield cement plant in Russia. Valued at slightly more than 950m Danish kroner (approximately 125m euro), the contract has been signed with LLC "Cement", a new cement producer in the Russian market. Oman Cement Company (OCC) signed on October 29, 2007 an agreement with China National Building Material Equipment Corporation (CBMEC) for installing a third production line at a cost of US$162m (EUR112.5m).     The new line’s daily production capacity will be 4000t of clinker.     The project is to be completed within 25 months.
