Orascom Construction Industries (OCI) has announced that it has established Syrian Cement Company, which will construct a greenfield cement plant in Northwest Syria with a production capacity of 2Mta. Chinese Sinoma to build US$250m cement factory in Yemen

Officials at China-based Sinoma International announced that the company has signed an agreement with a private Yemeni-Saudi firm to build a US$250 m cement plant in Yemen, Gulf News reported. The officials pointed out that the plant, which will have a production capacity of 1.6Mta, will be managed by the Yemeni-Saudi Cement Co.  They added that the construction works at the project are due for completion within 25 months starting from the agreement signing.

With an order worth over 65 MSEK, Kellve Bulkteknik in Kvänum takes its biggest order ever. The record order includes silos and mechanical equipment to a cement plant outside London.
