Sinoma International Engineering Co Ltd said its unit Sinoma (Suzhou) Construction Co Ltd has won a CNY391.78m contract from Yaobo Cement Co Ltd in northwestern Shaanxi province to design and provide equipment for a cement production line. The cement production facility will have a capacity of 4000tpd.

The Siemens Industrial Solutions and Services Group (I&S) will equip the Platin cement factory of Irish Cement Limited with an automation system worth around EUR2m. Gebr. Pfeiffer AG has been appointed to supply an MPS 225 GC mill for gypsum calcination to the United Arab Emirates via Grenzebach BSH, Bad Hersfeld.  The mill, which is to be set up in Abu Dhabi, will be capable of drying, grinding and calcining 60 t/h of plaster. KHD Humboldt Wedag International Ltd. has been contracted by Saudi Arabia-based Arabian Cement Company to build a new cement production line with a capacity of 5000tpd of clinker. The contract which amounts to approximately USD110m, covers the design and equipment supply for Katrana Cement factory, including supply of mechanical, electrical and automation equipment for its production line for the new plant in Katrana, Jordan. 

China’s Sinoma wins US$119.5m in contracts from HeidelbergCement

Sinoma International Engineering Co Ltd said it has won bids to build cement production lines for two plants owned by HeidelbergCement, with the contracts worth a combined US$119.5m. In a statement filed with the Shanghai Stock Exchange, the company said the two plants are TulaCement in Russia and CaspiCement in Kazakhstan. Each production line will have a daily capacity of 5000t. The two lines will be completed in 26 months, the company added.
