HK-listed Luks to buy cement production equipment for US$25.56m

Luks Industrial (Group) Ltd said it will purchase cement production equipment from China National Aero-Technology for US$25.56m. The equipment includes facilities for a 3000tpd clinkers production line (for semi-finished cement), and a 1.5Mta cement grinding mill, which will both be installed in Vietnam, the company said. The company operates a cement plant in Vietnam. Installation of the facilities for cement production is expected to be completed by the second quarter of 2008, it said. ...

FLSmidth has contracted to supply a cement plant to Kokshe Cement, which is partly owned by East Energy Company (EEC) of Kazakhstan. The value of the contract exceeds DKK 670m (approximately EUR 90m). KHD Humboldt Wedag International Ltd has received a $50m contract to make a cement production line for Russian cement maker JUGPK Novotoizk.    KHD said it will service the project through its German units in Cologne and Deassau.
