Kawasaki Plant Systems, Ltd to build second production line at Lafarge Cement’s Tetouan II

Kawasaki Plant Systems, Ltd announced that it has been awarded an approximately 8 billion yen contract for a cement plant to be used in the second production line at Lafarge Cement’s Tetouan II facility located in Tetouan City in northern Morocco. The plant is scheduled to begin production in 2009. China’s Sinoma unit wins US$68.6m deal from HeidelbergCement

Sinoma International Engineering Co Ltd said its unit CBMI Construction Co Ltd has signed an agreement to build a cement production line in Tanzania for Tanzania Portland Cement Co Ltd, a unit of HeidelbergCement, at a cost of US$68.6m.     Sinoma told the Shanghai Stock Exchange that the cement plant, located in Tanzania’s Wazo Hill, 30km from the country’s capital Dar es Salaam, has a capacity of 2500tpd.

Uralmashzavod settled a contract with Mordovtsement

Uralmashzavod has signed a contract with Mordovtsement February 28 on the production of two cement mills, the company informed.     The contract was signed as a result of the tender conducted in February. The equipment will be shipped in October 2007. Earlier, similar contracts were settled with Evrotsement Group, Uraltsement.     Mordovtsement is one of the leading cement makers in Russia.
