GEBR. PFEIFFER AG to supply vertical roller mill to Yemen

A contract to supply an MPS 5000 B vertical roller mill for raw material grinding has been awarded to Gebr. Pfeiffer AG by Sinoma International Engineering Co Ltd, full-line supplier for Arabian Yemeni Cement Company’s new 4000tpd cement production facility.   The delivery of the MPS raw mill, which will be designed for a capacity of 400tph, is scheduled for late 2007.   This order underpins Gebr. Pfeiffer AG’s strong position within the fast-growing Arabian market.

JK Cement Ltd has a contract w with FL. Smidth & Co. AS of Denmark for supply of cement plant machinery and equipment. JK Cement plans to set up a 3Mt plant at a cost of 9bn rupees in the southern state of Karnataka and expects building work to begin next month. The plant would help the company supply to parts of southern and western India, JK Cement said in a statement. The plant was expected to start production in the second half of 2008, it said.

China’s Sinoma wins US$84m contract from Serebryanskiy Cement

China’s Sinoma International Engineering Co Ltd said it has signed an agreement with Russia’s Serebryanskiy cement plant to design and provide equipment for one of its cement production lines, with the contract valued at US$84m. According to a statement filed to the Shanghai Stock Exchange, Sinoma said the cement production line, located in Oktyabrsky, 200km from Moscow, has a  capacity of 5000tpd, and will be completed in 24 months.
