Saveh White Cement Co, a partly state-owned Iranian enterprise, has placed an order with FLSmidth for two production lines with a total capacity of 7200t grey cement per day. Blue Circle Southern Cement Ltd, Australia has placed an additional order with Humboldt Wedag Australia Pty ltd as general contractor for increasing the capacity its Waurn Ponds works in Victoria. The contracts comes less than a year after the order for a roller press and V-separator to increase cement milling capacity. Haver & Boecker and Beumer have won contracts for a new silo and a new packing plant for Sean Quinn Cement in Ireland. The new packaging machine provided by Haver & Boecker will seal 25kg bags with the Rotoseal technology. A Beumer bag transport system is included as well as the conveying system to a high capacity Beumer paletpac® 5000 palletiser. Finally the finished bag stacks will be packaged by a Beumer stretch hood® machine.

PSP Engineering has signed a contract for the kiln line reconstruction with capacity increase from 2750 to 4000 tpd in Serbian Beocinska Fabrika Cementa owned by Lafarge. The turnkey contract exceeding €10m and involves the preheater reconstruction, rotary kiln modification and new grate cooler.
