Vicat has announced 1H20 results with consolidated sales of EUR1.304bn, down 2.7 per cent from EUR1.340bn in 1H19. Dangote Cement reported group revenue up two per cent to NGN476.9bn (US$1.23bn) in the 1H20. Group EBITDA rose to NGN218.1bn and pan-African EBITDA increased by 31.6 per cent to NGN31.5bn. Egyptian cement exports decline by 32% Jan-May 2020

Egyptian cement exports declined by roughly 32 per cent during the first five months of 2020 to US$47m, compared to US$68m during the same period in 2019. Egypt exported cement in the 5M20 to about 51 countries, including 18 countries who had not imported Egyptian cement in the same quarter in 2019, reports Egypt Today.

Dal Machinery & Design (Dal Engineering Group) has delivered three rotary kiln shells for Tanzania Portland Cement Public Ltd (Twiga), Tanzania.
