Dal Machinery & Design (Dal Engineering Group) has delivered three rotary kiln shells for Tanzania Portland Cement Public Ltd (Twiga), Tanzania. Qalaa Holdings records revenues of EGP14.9bn in FY2019

Qalaa Holdings of Egypt has reported total revenues of EGP14.9bn (US$945m), for its consolidated financial results for the year ended 31 December 2019, up 11 per cent YoY. PPC announces operational update for April

PPC has released an update for its African operations during April. PPC Barnet in the DRC has been able to continue to operate and is expected to produce similar volumes compared to the same period last year. Cimerwa and PPC Zimbabwe have also partially resumed operations in Rwanda and Zimbabwe, respectively, in the second half of April. Dangote Cement Group's unaudited results for the 9M19 to 30 September 2019 saw group volumes up 1.1 per cent to 18Mt and Nigerian sales up 0.6 per cent to 10.8Mt, driven by strong 3Q19 promotional activity. Dangote Cement Plc announced its unaudited results for 1H19 with group revenue reaching NGN467.7bn (US$1.291bn), down three per cent, and group EBITDA at NGN217.9bn, down 11.4 per cent.
