FLSmidth reports 22% decline in cement order intake in 2020

FLSmidth’s order intake in 2020 was on par with last year, comprising 13 per cent growth in mining and a 22 per cent decline in cement. Turkey’s Çimko Çimento has contracted FLSmidth to deliver a grey-to-white cement line conversion at its existing production line near Adiyaman in southeast Turkey. France’s Reel International, which specialises in industrial lifting equipment, has announced the acquisition of FLSmidth Hamburg GmbH. FLSmidth Hamburg, operating under the Möller brand, installs and maintains complex handling equipment for the energy, cement and aluminium industries.
