Holcim has opened a new whole-tyre co-processing facility at its Alpena plant in Michigan, USA. The US$7.4m state-supported investment is expected to convert 22,000tpa of tyres into energy to help fuel the company’s cement plant. Holcim to deploy 1000 Volvo electric trucks

Holcim will deploy up to 1000 electric trucks from Volvo by 2030. Delivery for the first trucks will start in the 4Q23. It is the largest commercial order to date for Volvo electric trucks.
