Holcim intends to drive profitable growth in Europe, reaching CHF10bn (US$11.1bn) in net sales and CHF1.6bn in EBIT by 2026 with increasing margins. Holcim sees 4% organic growth in 3Q23 sales

Holcim reported net sales of CHF7340m (US$8147m) in the third quarter of 2023, down 8.8 per cent in absolute figures but up 4.3 per cent organically when compared with the 3Q22 when net sales reached CHF8045m. Holcim Romania expands Campulung plant

Holcim (Romania) SA is investing over EUR25m to expand its cement plant in Campulung by 20 per cent. The investment will not only address the need for cement by the Romanian construction market, it will also help improve the plant’s sustainability by streamlining its logistics and reducing CO 2 emissions from the long-distance transportation of cement materials, according to Holcim. Lafarge Canada's Exshaw plant signs 38.5MW solar power project

Lafarge Canada Inc ( Holcim )  and ATCO Ltd announced that they have entered into a 12.5-year virtual power purchase agreement (VPPA). Under this agreement, Lafarge’s Exshaw cement plant will receive 100 per cent of the solar energy produced by the 38.5MW Empress Solar project, meeting 34 per cent of the plant’s power requirements through 2036.
