Raysut Cement Co (RCC) has signed an agreement with Oman-based Ayoki Engineering LLC for the upgrade of the Line 3 clinker cooler at its Salalah plant. Oman’s Raysut Cement Co (RCC) has begun operation of its new SAP ERP suites after five months of implementation. Raysut Cement records 27% revenue increase in 2018

Oman’s Raysut Cement Co has announced its unaudited consolidated results for 2018, recording a 26.6 per cent YoY rise in revenue to OMR90.98m (US$236.6m) from OMR71.9m last year. However, the company noted a 28.5 per cent fall in profit after tax to OMR4.16m, compared with OMR5.81m of the year-ago period.

Iranian province records export increase

Iran’s southern province of Hormozgan reported a 40 per cent increase in clinker and cement exports to 400,000t during the eight-month period between 21 March-21 November 2018, according to Masoumeh Mousavi of the country’s Mine and Trade Department. Oman Cement's Board gives go ahead for Duqum plant

Oman Cement company has informed Muscat Securities Market on 6 December that its Board of Directors has agreed to go ahead with setting up of a new integrated cement plant in Duqum area,  in central-eastern Oman. The Port of Salalah, Oman, has taken delivery of a new mobile shiploading system, which it expects to commission later this year for use at its General Cargo Terminal (GCT).
