Polish monthly sales edge ahead

Cement production in Poland increased by 1.6 per cent YoY to 1.65Mt in July, while sales were up by 1.7 per cent to 1.71Mt, Poland's Cement Producer Association said in a statement. Year-to-date production grew two per cent YoY to 8.84Mt. Meanwhile, year-to-date sales rose by 2.3 per cent to 9.04Mt.

Cement production in Poland increased by 4.1 per cent YoY to 1.55Mt in June, while sales were up by 7.2 per cent to 1.59Mt, Poland's Cement Producer Association said in a statement. Year-to-date production rose by 2.1 per cent YoY to 7.19Mt. Year-to-date sales were up by 2.5 per cent to 7.33Mt.

Polish cement producers sold nearly 2.7Mt of cement in the first quarter of this year, up 3.4 per cent YoY, with further growth anticipated in 2015 and beyond. On a turnover just 0.1 per cent lower at EUR2506.4m, Buzzi Unicem's underlying EBITDA did increase by 7.1 per cent to EUR404.8m in 2014, while at the headline level there was a 4.8 per cent advance to EUR422.7m. Polish monthly production rises 16.1% YoY

Cement production in Poland rose by 16.1 per cent to 720,4000t in February, while sales fell by 2.3 per cent to 722,300t, according to the Polish Association of Cement Producers (SPC). For the first two months of this year,  production grew 8.6 per cent to 1.24Mt, while sales increased 5.3 per cent to 1.36Mt. Polish monthly sales rise

Polish cement sales rose by 15.4 per cent YoY in January 2015 to 638,500t, according to the country’s cement association, Stowarzyszenie Producentów Cementu (SPC). Production during the first month of the year, however, declined by 0.1 per cent to 520,000t, the data shows. Last year, domestic production increased by 6.8 per cent YoY to 15.4Mt, with sales during the period rising by 6.6 per cent.

CRH withdraws from aerated concrete in Poland

The Polish CRH subsidiary Grupa Ozarow has now received Polish competition authority approval to sell its aerated concrete subsidiary Grupa Prefabet SA to the Danish aerated concrete producer H+H International.  The deal values Grupa Prefabet at just over €14m and the move is aimed at reducing the fragmentation in the highly competitive Polish aerated concrete market.

Polish output up 6.8% YoY

Full year Polish cement production increased 6.8 per cent YoY in 2014 to 15.4Mt, according to the country's cement association. Cement production edged up by 1.9 per cent YoY to 861,7000t in December, while sales were ahead by 805,800t, Poland's Cement Producer Association said in a statement.
