Turkey's Sabanci Holding has announced that it will be restructuring its white cement business unit by merging its financial power and the operational capability of its Çimsa subsidiary, according to a statement. Cemex España has requested the authorisation of the Financial Superintendency of Colombia (SFC) to begin a public offering of every ordinary and outstanding share of Cemex Latam registered in the National Register of Securities and Issuers of Colombia and the Colombian Securities Exchange. Cemex is cancelling its terminal project that would see the company import 150,000tpa of cement via the Ingeniero Olano dock in El Musel, Gijón, Spain.
