Loesche performs VRM performance test

Loesche has successfully carried out a performance test of a new vertical roller mill for Bangladesh cement producer Seven Rings Cement  ( Shun Shing Group) . "The Loesche mill is an LM 72.4+4 VRM. The mill performed to the clients expectations," said Joko Samito, Loesche's senior commissioning and process engineer.

Gebr Pfeiffer commissions Kenyan mill

Gebr Pfeiffer has successfully commissioned third line for cement grinding for Mombasa Cement Ltd, Vpingo , Kenya. The project for Tororo Cement subsidary Mombasa Cement included the installation of a Gebr Pfeiffer vertical roller mill  MVR3750C-4. The original order was placed in July 2019 .

Roof collapse at Lafarge Zimbabwe may impact performance

Lafarge Cement Zimbabwe has announced that a roof collapse at one of its cement mills is expected to have a negative impact on the group’s overall business performance in the final quarter of 2021. Deccan Cement Ltd, based in Hyderabad, India, has ordered another vertical mill from Gebr Pfeiffer for its new kiln line at the Bhavanipuram plant in the state of Andhra Pradesh.
