Vicat reported a 19.6 per cent increase in consolidated sales as they rose from EUR1.304bn in the 1H20 to EUR1.56bn in the 1H21. At constant scope and exchange rates the advance is 26.2 per cent YoY. Vicat has contracted FLSmidth to deliver equipment for a new project in France, which will replace clinker with an environmentally-friendly clay and cut up to 16 per cent of CO 2  emissions, compared to existing cement products. The order includes FLSmidth’s new flash calciner technology, an environmental control system and alternative fuel storage. Dal Machinery & Design ( Dal Engineering group) was awarded a project for the manufacturing and installation of a kiln shell for VICAT Group's Konya Cement plant, Turkey.
