Vicat reported a 19.6 per cent increase in consolidated sales as they rose from EUR1.304bn in the 1H20 to EUR1.56bn in the 1H21. At constant scope and exchange rates the advance is 26.2 per cent YoY. Dal Machinery & Design ( Dal Engineering group) was awarded a project for the manufacturing and installation of a kiln shell for VICAT Group's Konya Cement plant, Turkey. The kiln shell was manufactured with a diameter of 4.136mm. Delivery and installation works were made during the month of April of 2021.

The pilot project "catch4climate", for which four cement manufacturers have joined forces, is set to capture CO 2 at the site of the Mergelstetten cement plant in southern Germany.
