Figuil plant to be expanded by 0.5Mta

Cameroonian Prime Minister, Joseph Dion Nguté, laid the first stone of the new 0.5Mta production line of Cimenteries du Cameroun (Cimencam) in Figuil, in the northern part of the country, last week. Wärtsilä has signed a five-year Operation & Maintenance (O&M) agreement with Nigeria's Lafarge Africa Plc. CEM II 32.5 R cement will cost XOF64,617/t (US$115.96/t), including tax while CEM II 42.5 R cement will be sold at XOF66,997/t, including tax.
