Cement demand in Colombia slipped by 0.6 per cent YoY in July 2022 to 1.125Mt from 1.132Mt in July 2021, reports the country’s statistics office, DANE. Vietnam’s cement market expanded six per cent to 5,199,736t in July 2022 when compared with July 2021, according to the Vietnam National Cement Association (VNCA). Cement sales in Indonesia slipped two per cent to 5,438,865 in June 2022 from 5,551,489t in June 2021, according to the Indonesian cement association, ASI. Puerto Rican cement sales fell 15.7 per cent YoY in July 2022 to 1.12m bags of 42.6kg, or 47,712t, according to the country’s Institute of Statistics. Cement deliveries by members of Morocco’s cement association, AFCP, declined by 29.8 per cent in July 2022 to 630,479t from 898,429t in July 2021, according to Ipsos. The data is the aggregate delivery volume of Asment Temera, Cements de l’Atlas, Ciments du Maroc and LafargeHolcim Maroc.
