Chilean cement dispatches in June declined 10.6 per cent to 291,979t from 326,681t in June 2018, according to the Chilean Construction Chamber (CChC). When compared with the previous month, the drop was 15.4 per cent. In the first half of 2019, total cement dispatches in the South American country reached 2,065,205t, representing a 4.9 per cent increase when compared with the 1H18, when 1,969,372t was delivered.

Total cement consumption in Argentina in July 2019 increased 5.1 per cent YoY to 1,000,711t, according to the country’s cement association, AFCP.
