Total cement deliveries by Indonesian cement producers advanced 2.6 per cent in the first two months of 2019 to 11.216Mt when compared with 10.93Mt in the 2M18, according to the latest data from the Indonesian Cement Association, ASI. Total shipments of Portland and blended cement in the USA and Puerto Rico advanced 11 per cent YoY to 6.4Mt, according to the US Geological Survey (USGS). Peru’s cement consumption advanced 4.8 per cent to 0.931Mt in March 2019 when compared with March 2018, according to the country’s cement association, Asocem. Brazil’s cement sales increased 1.3 per cent YoY to 12.7Mt in the 1Q19, according to preliminary data from the country’s cement association, SNIC. Cement demand in Argentina has fallen 13.8 per cent YoY to 940,112t in March 2019 when compared  with 1,091,122t in March 2018, according to the country’s cement association, AFCP. Total shipments of Portland and blended cement in the USA reached 6.176Mt in December 2018, according to the latest data from the US Geological Survey (USGS).
