Cement sales in Vietnam declined by eight per cent YoY and by five per cent MoM to 5,655,119t in May 2022, according to the Vietnam National Cement Association (VNCA). Pakistan's cement exports continued to report mixed trends in the export of cement and clinker cumulative basis for 11 months and in May alone of FY22, according to the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics. The Iranian cement market contracted 11.6 per cent YoY to 5.11Mt in May 2022 from 5.78Mt in May 2021, according to the Iranian cement association. Spanish cement consumption slipped in May by 0.9 per cent, to 1,325,372t, which represents a loss of 12,406t compared to the same month last year, according to the country's cement association, Oficemen.
