The planning commission in Vallejo, California, recently refused Ecocem’s subsidiary, Orcem Americas, permission to build on the city’s waterfront based on environmental concerns. Bangladesh: Meghna Cement Mills to raise capacity12 April 2017, Published under Cement NewsMeghna Cement Mills, part of the Bashundhara Group, plans to increase grinding capacity at its Bangladesh-based plant with the installation of a vertical roller mill. The company, which sells its cement under the King brand, has reportedly signed a contract with FLSmidth for supply of the mill, according to a report by the Daily Star (Bangladesh).
