IKN wins cooler order from Jaykaycem Central

IKN has received an order from Jaykaycem Central Ltd for a new cooler project at Panna, Madhya Pradesh, India. The new 8000tpd clinker cooler will be a two-stage cooler, equipped with an intermediate roll crusher. It is particularly designed to recirculate vent air to boost the waste heat recovery system (WHRS).   One of the new features is a variable cooler inlet slope between 10-15° to adjust to the prevailing clinker conditions, says IKN.

IKN is building a new line for Qizilqum Cement

IKN is erecting a new production line at Qizilqum Cement plant, Uzbekistan. IKN's scope of supply, as a main equipment supplier, includes process integration and equipment design for the pyroprocessing line as well as supply of the core parts for preheater, kiln and cooler, including ID fan, kiln drive and burners. With the start-up scheduled for 2022 the new six-stage preheater will be a new landmark in the region.

IKN achieves first clinker from CBR Antoing plant

IKN received as a special present the first clinker from the modified calciner and IKN cooler installed in Cimenteries CBR's Antoing plant in Belgium on Christmas Eve.   IKN said, "We thank everybody involved for their determination and efforts in this challenging project. In spite of coronavirus and a tough schedule there was no compromise on safety!" The Antoing clinker plant has a cement capacity of 0.9Mta and is one of five plants operated by SA Cimenteries CBR.

Attock Cement orders second IKN Pendulum cooler

The management of Attock Cement Pakistan Ltd and IKN GmbH agreed a deal for the supply of another latest generation IKN Pendulum Cooler. The cooler with a capacity of 4000tpd will be supplied for Attock's new Line 3. This agreement follows shortly after the order for a new IKN static inlet (KIDS) for Line 1.
