Mangalam Cement sees 17% revenue increase

India’s Mangalam Cement has reported a standalone net profit of INR110.7m (US$1.49m) in the 2QFY21-22, falling 48.1 per cent YoY from INR213.3m in the year-ago period. However, net revenue advanced 17.2 per cent YoY to INR3.76bn from INR3.21bn in the 2QFY20-21.

Mangalam Cement sees 57% rise in sales

India’s Mangalam Cement has reported a 57.1 per cent rise in sales to INR3.55bn (US$47.52m) in the quarter ending June 2021, compared to INR2.26bn in the year-ago period. Net profit also increased 189.4 per cent YoY to INR399.4m from INR138m in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal.

Mangalam Cement completes capacity upgrade at Morak

India’s Mangalam Cement has completed a trial run of an expansion project at its Morak plant in Rajasthan. As a result, clinker capacity at the plant has been improved by 300,000tpa and cement by 400,000tpa. Following the upgrades to Morak’s Line I, overall capacity of the company now stands at 4.4Mta.

Mangalam Cement posts 201% rise in net profit

India-based Mangalam Cement reported standalone net profit of INR374.5m (US$5.1m) for the quarter ended 31 December 2020, a 201.1 per cent advance when compared with the equivalent period in 2019. Net revenue increased by 10.2 per cent YoY to INR3.4049bn in the last quarter of 2020 from INR3.0904 in the corresponding quarter of the previous year. Mangalam Cement commissions 11MW WHR plant

India’s Mangalam Cement has fully commissioned its 11MW waste heat recovery unit at its plant in Morak, Rajasthan. It had initially put 5.15MW of capacity into operation on 15 January 2020 with the remainder set to be commissioned in the 4QFY19-20. However, this plan was delayed by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Mangalam Cement sees net sales rise 3% in FY19-20

India’s Mangalam Cement has reported net sales of INR3.04bn (US$39.79m) in the quarter ending 31 March 2020, a 7.9 per cent YoY decline compared to INR3.3bn in the 4QFY18-19. However, net profit surged to INR155.1m from INR16.7m. In the full FY19-20, total income advanced 2.8 per cent YoY to INR12.58bn from INR12.23bn in the previous fiscal year. The company also posted a net profit of INR759m against a net loss of INR97.3 in the FY18-19.

India’s Mangalam Cement has reported a record net profit of INR330m (US$4.66m) for the quarter ending 30 June, following an INR150m net loss in the year-ago period. Operational revenue surged 31 per cent YoY to INR3.33bn from INR2.55bn, while the EBITDA margin improved to 20.4 per cent from 1.9 per cent.

Mangalam Cement records 22% income increase

India-based Mangalam Cement Ltd has announced a 22.4 per cent YoY increase in total income to INR2.91bn (US$40.3m) for the 2QFY18-19, rising from INR2.38bn. Net profit advanced 191.8 per cent to INR31.25m from INR10.71m in the year-ago period. In the six-month period ended 30 September, total income was up 3.2 per cent YoY at INR5.5bn. However, the company also recorded a net loss of INR121m in the 1HFY18-19.
