The USA represented an 18 per cent share of Turkish cement exports during the first nine months of the year, the largest share amongst the export destinations, according to the Turkish Statistical Institute (TurkStat). Algeria exports to Dominican Republic

Algeria-based Société des Ciments de Aïn El Kebira (SCAEK), part of the GICA Group, has exported 40,000t of clinker to the Dominican Republic, reports L’Expression. GICA has exported some 550,000t of clinker since the start of the year to African and South American countries, including Senegal, Côte d’Ivoire, Guinea, Peru and Brazil, according to GICA.

Vietnam's export volumes fall 5% in October

Vietnam is estimated to have exported 3.2Mt of cement and clinker worth US$126m in October, down 4.8 per cent in volume and five per cent in value YoY, according to the General Statistics Office data released on 29 October. In the first 10 months of 2020, the country is estimated to have exported 31.45Mt of cement and clinker at a value of US$1.17bn, up 18.2 per in volume and 5.6 per cent in value.

Tajikistan exports 31% of production in 9M20

Tajikistan exported 990,000t of cement in the January-September period of 2020, according to the country’s Ministry of Industry and New Technologies.
