Italy’s cement output sees 3% drop in March

Cement production in Italy increased by nine per cent in March 2022 when compared with the 2015 baseline index of 100, according to Federbeton, the country’s concrete association. Exports of secondary fuels, such as refuse-derived fuel (RDF) and solid recovered fuel (SRF), from England fell by 40,055t in March this year, compared to the same period a year earlier. March 2022 saw exports of 135,506t, versus 175,561t in March 2021, according to data from Footprint Services.
