Cement sales in Brazil increased 3.9 per cent YoY in November to 4.7Mt, according to SNIC, the country’s cement association. Bangladesh's cement industry has earned an export revenue of US$4.08m during July-November 2019, compared to US$4.92m earned in same period last year. This translates a fall of 17.1 per cent YoY. Algeria’s cement export revenues have increased more than 251 per cent YoY in the first nine months of 2019, rising to over US$51m from US$14.54m, according to the Customs’ Directorate of Studies and Prospective (DEPD). Peru’s cement market expanded by 6.7 per cent YoY in October 2019 as demand reached 1.089Mt when compared with 1.021Mt reported in October 2018, according to the latest data published by the country’s cement association, Asocem. Belarusian cement exporters plan to switch their export volumes from Ukraine to the EU market, according to the country’s Architecture and Construction Minister, Dmitry Mikulenok. Pakistan's cement industry earned foreign exchange revenue of US$94.41m by exporting 2.368Mt of cement and clinker between July and October 2019, compared to US$104.34m from exporting 2.411Mt of cement/clinker in same months last year, says the country's Federal Bureau of Statistics.
