Mangal Industries Ltd has performed the groundbreaking ceremony of a greenfield cement plant in Iluagba, Kogi State, Nigeria. Fouta Cement Corp, the subsidiary of Fouta Corp, a trading company based in Liberia, is establishing a 0.396Mta grinding plant in Monrovia. Star Cement is planning to invest INR17,000-18,000m (US$218.9m-231.8m) over the next two years, in response to robust demand from the infrastructure and real estate sectors. Tamilnadu Cements has revealed plans to build a new grinding plant at Alangulam, in Tenkasi district, Tamil Nadu, India.
