Gebr Pfeiffer has erected and commissioned an MVR grinding plant at Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape, South Africa, for Osho Cement in just four months. Osho Cement is a joint venture with HeidelbergCement. The MVR 37750 C-4 mill was ordered in 2017 and is the first MVR mill in South Africa. Dangote Cement PLC has ordered a Gebr Pfeiffer MVR 6000 R-4 for raw material mill and an MPS 3350 BK coal mill for its new Okpella plant in Edo State, Nigeria. India’s Wonder Cement has ordered two additional vertical mills from Gebr Pfeiffer, adding to the five already supplied by the company. Gebr Pfeiffer has been awarded its first contract to supply MVR mills to Indonesia. The mills will be set up at Grobogan cement plant located close to Semarang in Central Java. Palpa Cement Industries Pvt Ltd in Nepal has ordered a MVR vertical mill from Germany-based mill specialist Gebr Pfeiffer for its plant in Sunwal, Nawalparasi district. The MVR 3350 C-4 mill has a drive power of 2150kW is designed to grind 130tph of cement at 3000 Blaine and 100tph of blastfurnace cement at 3800 Blaine. The order is the fourth vertical mill supplied by Gebr Pfeiffer in Nepal in the last year. Commissioning of the mill is planned for mid-2019.
