The first steel column of the kiln inlet at Yamama Cement ’s 12,500tpd project in Saudi Arabia was successfully installed on 18 January 2024, 13 days ahead of schedule. Dalmia Cement (Bharat) Ltd has ordered one MVR 3750 C-4 each for two cement grinding plants, one in Ariyalur and one in Kadapa , India. Cemcor completes upgrade work

Cemcor has completed the upgrade work on its Cookstown plant in Northern Ireland, UK. Following the company's acquisition of the plant, it committed GBP6m (US$7.54m/EUR6.98m) to replace the electrostatic precipitators (ESPs) with a state-of-the-art bag filter at the plant. thyssenkrupp Industrial Solutions achieves first clinker at Outão

thyssenkrupp Industrial Solutions has announced the success of   first clinker produced at the Secil Outão plant, near Sétubal in Portugal.   The thyssenkrupp Polysius construction and start-up teams reached this milestone at the beginning of the the second week of April 2023, after a heating of about 72 hours.  This project is referred to as the ‘ CCL - Clean Cement Line ’ and is designed to lower NO x and CO 2 emissions at the outao plant.

Ciments de l’Afrique (CIMAF) has ordered an MVR vertical roller mill from Gebr Pfeiffer for its plant at Keur Moussa, Senegal. This marks the first such mill to be installed in the African country.   The vertical roller mill of the type MVR 5000 R-4 will be used for raw material grinding.
