MKAO Fenestraria Consultants Ltd, one of the companies close to Oleg Deripaska that became residents of the SAR on Oktyabrsky, Kaliningrad region, now holds a 100% stake in Serebryansky Cement, according to SPARK-Interfax. Russia sees record cement prices in May

In Russia the average selling price for cement in the domestic market in May 2019 reached RUB3730/t (US$56/t) and RUB3740 for cement with additives, according to the Russian Federal State Statistics Service. This is reportedly a record figure for cement prices. When compared to the previous month, the overall price growth rate stood at one per cent. Prices increased 4.9 per cent in the Far Eastern federal district (FD) but fell in the Southern FD.

Kazakhstan output represents 12 per cent of total Eurasian cement production

Kazakhstan produced 12 per cent of the total volume of cement manufactured in the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) during the 1Q19, according to Trend News Agency. The total volume of output in the first quarter reached 12.03Mt, or on average 16-19 per cent of the annual volume due to the seasonal nature of cement production and demand. Ukraine set to introduce new antidumping duties on imports

Ukraine’s interdepartmental commission for international trade has decided to introduce antidumping duties on imported cement clinker and Portland cement of 115 per cent for goods originating in Russia, 57 per cent for Belarus and 94.5 per cent for Moldova, according to the Economic Development and Trade Ministry.
