Limak Cement Group has carbon footprint report independently verified

Limak Cement Group ’s Anka plant broke new ground in the Turkish cement industry and became the first cement factory with a verified carbon footprint report.   The cement factory in Anka , Turkey, has been awarded a certificate as the first cement factory whose 14064-1:2018 carbon footprint report has been verified by Emicert and QSI, which are accredited in the cement industry.

Bursa Çimento Fabrikasi AS is upgrading its entire cement plant to reduce CO₂ emissions and energy consumption to a minimum. Çimsa Cement invests US$45m in CAC facility

Turkey’s Çimsa Cement is investing US$45m expanding the capacity of its calcium aluminate cement (CAC) facility at its Mersin plant , according to Yatırımlar Magazine. The move is reportedly in line with the company’s growth targets as it plans to expand its product range to add value. The project is due to start in the 2Q22 and be completed in the 3Q23.

Titan Cement records revenue growth of EUR1714.6m in 2021

Titan Cement Group generated record revenues of EUR1714.6m, up 6.7 per cent from 2020, reflecting higher demand and a supportive pricing environment. EBITDA declined by 4.6 per cent to EUR272.4m. Net profit after taxes and minorities (NPAT) climbed to EUR89.6m (EUR1.1m in 2020 and EUR50.9m in 2019).
