Ersel Heavy Machinery completes Sivas Cement order

Ersel Heavy Machinery Inc recently completed its final delivery of 2021 to Votorantim’s Sivas cement plant in Turkey. The equipment order was for a new ball mill measuring 2.8m x 4.5m.

Medcem receives export award

Turkey-based Medcem has been awarded as both the company with the highest grey cement exports and the company with the highest increase in grey cement exports. The award was delivered at a gala night for Turkish Cement Exporters. Alongside this, Medcem is currently embarking on a US$230m project to expand its Mersin factory, raising clinker production capacity from 3.5Mta to 6.5Mta.

STAS Engineering to work on Bursa Cimento upgrade project

STAS Engineering and Erk Proje will help Bursa Çimento Fabrikasi AS to decrease carbon emission rates while increasing its production capacity with a new raw meal silo, preheater tower, rotary kiln, clinker cooler and clinker silos. The main technology supplier is FLSmith from Denmark and CETA Makina is the contractor. The work on the Turkish cement plant is due to be completed in the first months of 2022.

Medcem orders 9000tpd kiln line from Sintek

This September, Sinoma Overseas was awarded the contract by Kentcim Group for the main equipment supply and technical services for a 4250tpd cement production line in southern Turkey.
