Cement dispatches in Argentina declined by 1.4. per cent YoY to 1,209,746t in August 2023 from 1,226,632t in August 2022, according to the country’s cement association, AFCP. Cement demand in Argentina declined by 6.9 per cent to 1,067,680t in July 2023 when compared with July 2022, when demand reached 1,146,900t, according to the country’s cement association, AFCP. Cement dispatches in Argentina declined by 2.1 per cent YoY to 1,080,422t in June 2023 from 1,104,066t in June 2022, according to the country’s cement association, AFCP. The Argentine cement market contracted 1.5 per cent YoY to 1,072,110t in May 2023, according to the country’s cement association, AFCP. In May 2022 domestic consumption reached 1,088,000t. However, MoM demand was up 4.2 per cent from 1,028,598t in April 2023. Cement sales in Argentina fell by one per cent to 1,028,656t in April 2023 from 1,039,320t in April 2022, according to the country’s cement association, AFCP. Argentina’s cement market expanded by 6.4 per cent in March 2023 as 1,114,722t of cement were supplied, compared to 1,047,227t in March 2022, according to the country’s cement association, AFCP. Compared with February 2023, the advance was 24.4 per cent.
