Pioneer Cement Ltd has awarded Loesche with the contract for four vertical roller mills (VRMs) for its new production line at its Chenki/Kushab district, Punjab. The new line will expand the cement producer’s production capacity at the site to 8000tpd. The contract includes a 630tph VRM for raw meal grinding as well as two cement mills that will grind clinker at a rate of 235tph each. Chettinad Cement Corp has received approval from the Odisha’s State Level Single Window Clearance Authority (SLSWCA) to establish a grinding plant.   The project will have a capacity of 2Mta and is to be located at Kalinga Nagar Industrial Complex.   The Government of Odisha has been actively trying to create a conducive business environment to encourage companies across the country to set up or expand their business in the eastern Indian state.    

Boral bids for 24h mill at Geelong

Australian cement producer Boral has applied to the Australian Environmental Protection Authority to run a 24h grinding mill in Geelong’s north. Loesche has provided a LM 56.3+3 CS vertical roller mill for cement grinding to Attock Cement in Pakistan. The new mill will be used in the new Line 3 of Attock's cement plant in Hub Chowki in Pakistan.
