The aggregate sales of 17 Saudi cement producers decreased by seven per cent to 4.8Mt in December 2021, from 5.2Mt in the same month last year, according to recent data issued by Yamama Cement Co. The aggregate sales of 17 Saudi cement producers decreased by five per cent to 4.7Mt in November, compared to 4.9Mt in the same month last year, according to Yamama Cement Co. PPC Barnet in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) announced that nearly 230,000t of cement were produced in the second quarter of 2021. The aggregate sales of 17 Saudi cement producers decreased by 11 per cent to 4.1Mt in September, from 4.6Mt in the same month last year, according to recent data issued by Yamama Cement Co. Cement sold through Iran's mercantile exchange rises

The operations manager of the Iran Mercantile Exchange (IME), Abbas Yaghoubi, has provided an update regarding the offering of all the country's cement via the IME, according to Trend News. China’s Tangshan Jidong Cement expects its net profit to rise 20-30 per cent YoY to CNY1.2-1.3bn (US$185-200m) in the first half of 2021, compared to CNY1bn in the year-ago period. The company has attributed the rise in profit to an increase in cement and clinker sales, continued strengthening of cost control and a decline in expenses. Vietnam is expected to sell 8.87Mt of cement in March, up 1.5 per cent YoY, according to the latest data from the Department of Building Materials under the Ministry of Construction. Indonesia's 2020 domestic cement sales were recorded at 62.7Mt.
