Hanson appoints new packed products director

UK-based Hanson has appointed Andrew Simpson as its new packed products director. Mr Simpson will now be responsible for the sales of the company packed products, including cement, ready-to-use concrete and aggregates. Additional responsibilities now also include maintenance at the company’s ready-to-use production site in Nuneaton and its construction aggregate packing plants across the country.

Canada’s McInnis Cement has announced the appointment of Baudouin Nizet as president and CEO, effective immediately. PPC's CFO to step down at the end of the month

South Africa’s PPC has announced that its Chief Financial Officer, Tryphosa Ramano, will step down on 31 October after eight years at the company. Ms Ramano has agreed to take on a consultancy role with PPC to ensure continuity. Ronel van Dijk has been appointed as interim CFO and as an executive director. The news follows Roland van Wijnen taking over as CEO of PPC at the start of this month.

Fauji Cement appoints new non-executive director
